This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor). The skills required for these roles may include but are not restricted to telecommunications network engineering such as managing logistics, organisational specifications, regulations and legislative requirements across network projects.

There are no entry requirement for this qualification as per course training package. However, the applicant must meet Oban college’s following selection criteria

  • International students must meet academic and English entry requirements, including the qualification entry requirements listed above.
  • Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon application or by the commencement date of the program.
  • Students require a completed Year 12 or equivalent; or non-school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study and personal competencies
  • Student must have English Proficiency as guided by Oban College’s English Proficiency Policy and Procedure
  • Where English is not the official language in the country where students are currently residing, evidence of a valid IELTS 5.5 or equivalent must be provided. Students will also complete an English level placement test prior to enrolment.
    · Successful completion of the Oban College LLN. The Oban College Enrolment Process and English Proficiency Policy will govern the implementation and enforcement of the entry requirements.
