This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

Qualification entry requirements: Entry to this qualification is limited to those who:
Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
or
Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
Oban College entry requirements:
The applicant must meet Oban college’s following selection criteria
- International students must meet academic and English entry requirements, including the qualification entry requirements if listed above.
- Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon application or by the commencement date of the program.
- Students require a completed Year 12 or equivalent; or non-school-leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study, LLN and personal competencies
- Student must have English Proficiency as guided by Oban College’s English Proficiency Policy and Procedure
Where English is not the official language in the country where students are currently residing, evidence of a valid IELTS 5.5 or equivalent must be provided. Students may also complete an English level placement test prior to enrolment.
