This qualification provides the skills and knowledge needed for a career in wall and floor tiling in residential and commercial construction. It covers core construction skills along with specialized tiling techniques. Tilers work with materials like ceramic, glass, slate, marble, and clay, cutting and installing tiles on both interior and exterior surfaces, often adding decorative elements to enhance their work.

Qualification entry requirements: There is no entry requirement for this qualification as per course training package. However, the applicant must meet Oban college’s following selection criteria
- IInternational students must meet academic and English entry requirements, including the qualification entry requirements if listed above.
- Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon application or by the commencement date of the program.
Students require a completed Year 12 or equivalent; or non-school- leavers are selected according to eligibility and merit, vocational experience, previous study, LLN and personal competencies
Student must have English Proficiency as guided by Oban College’s English Proficiency Policy and Procedure.
Where English is not the official language in the country where students are currently residing, evidence of a valid IELTS 6.0 or equivalent must be provided.
